Current Events At RVCCCalendar of events 60 Mile Breast Cancer WalkRev. Nancy will be walking in her fourth 60 mile Komen for the Cure Breast Cancer Walk this fall. She will be walking with her sister, Sue (a five year survivor), Heather, and Paddy. Rev. Nancy is helping her team reach their goal of $11,000 in contributions to Komen for the Cure. The money raised is used for breast cancer research, educational awareness programs, and early detection programs. If you would like to make a contribution to help fight this disease that continues to affect so many women (and men), you may write a check payable to “Breast Cancer 3 Day” and either mail it to Rev. Nancy at 31 Farwell Avenue, Cumberland, ME 04021, or leave it in the Church Office. Rev. Nancy is walking in honor of her sister, in memory of many people who lost their battle with cancer, and because everyone deserves a lifetime.
